Kids No Object Review

Kids No Object’ was established in 1986. It is a specialised introduction agency to enable single parents, unattached, and family-minded people to meet each other. A lot of thought and writing has gone into this website, and there is plenty of background information ranging across many topics and issues. In fact, sometimes it seems like a novel is opening up before your very eyes, but it’s a good site if you enjoy reading! The website is very professional in outlook, aiming for those who value family life, and reaches out across the whole of the UK. ‘Kids No Object’ particularly appeals to men aged 20 – 60, and women 20 – 55 who request family life appears at the top of the agenda, and there is a relatively constant 50-50 split between the genders.

Kids No Object’ provide a personal service with a telephone helpline available 9am-7pm Mondays to Fridays. You fill out an application form which takes 10-15 minutes to complete, containing physical and other factual details about yourself, and you provide information about your personality, interests and what your ideal partner would be. ‘Kids No Object’ then create the personal profile for you which is then entered into the system.

Then they circulate details of existing members taking into account your preferences of localities and age ranges. An average list of profiles usually consists of around 30 single people, but is often considerably more because there is no limit to how many contacts you are sent on the list, and could be as many as 90 in some cases, it simply depends on how many contacts there are within your stated age range and location preferences.

Likewise your profile is circulated to other members if it fits what they are looking for. Members contact each other via a combination of one or more of the following: landline, mobile phone, e-mail & letter – you state your preferences on the initial application form. You can request updated lists of profiles throughout your membership, for an extra fee each time, leaving 3 months between such requests.

Apart from recruiting members onto their internet site, ‘Kids No Object’ also advertise in local newspapers across many regions of the UK every week of the year, to provide members with further choice so that you will be able to meet single parents, or those who are family-orientated who don’t have kids, living locally who have responded to the advertising, including people you would never be able to meet if they marketed their introduction service solely on the internet, as there is still a large proportion of the population who are not connected to the superhighway.

Fees are as follows:

One-off membership plus initial contact list

£80 – paid by debit/credit card

£77 – paid by cheque, postal order or cash

This membership fee is a once-only payment and covers membership for as long as you wish provided you contact them once every 3 months, and you’ll receive your first list of contacts.

Updated lists, if required, are available if you require further lists of updated contacts 3 months later, and every subsequent third month for as long as you wish.

£34.50 – debit/credit card

£33.00 – cheque/PO/cash

Friendship between single Mums:

There is also an extra additional service exclusively for single Mums where lady members can meet each other for friendship. This is aimed at single Mums who don’t know many other single Mums in their local area to help them meet up and chat to others in a similar position to themselves, and to forge a friendship between themselves and between their children.

£16 – debit/credit card

£15 – cheque/PO/cash

(This fee is in addition to the one-off membership fee.)
